Lower Hill District Redevelopment Meeting Draws Over 120 Participants

Over 120 community members engage and discuss concerns and hopes for the Lower Hill District.

On April 10th, the Hill CDC and Councilman Daniel Lavelle convened a meeting so Hill District residents and stakeholdrs could have an opportunity to engage the Pittsburgh Penguins, SEA and other parties regarding the redevelopment of the Lower Hill District site. The Community brought forth many great questions and concerns; and they recognized opportunities for the Lower Hill District to play a central role in the economic revitalization of the entire Hill District community. Co-facilitated by The Design Center and the Hill CDC, all questions and comments will be documented and shared in the near future. In the meantime, the please see the link below for a DRAFT VERSION of the Lower Hill District Preliminary Land Development Plan. Questions and comments may be directed to info [at] hilldistrict.org.

The next meeting will be held at the Thelma Lovette YMCA at 6pm on April 17th.
