Fences

Saturday, May 30, 2015 - 8:00pm
Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre, 937 Liberty Ave., Cultural District

The Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company presents August Wilson's "Fences".

The Pulitzer-Prize winning play, directed by Mark Clayton Southers, is set in the 1950s and recounts the early rumblings of the Civil Rights Movement. The play follows character Troy Maxson, a middle-aged Hill District resident, and his struggle to accept the generational changes that have allowed his son to succeed in ways that he never could. This is the last performance of the production. For more information, visit www.pghplaywrights.org.
