It's important for all kids to start the school year strong! Be There, a United Way initiative, promotes regular attendance for students in all grades. The first day of school is hard for both parents and youth, so you are helping ease their anxiety and change their attitude toward schools, from day one, making them more likely to keep coming back. Middle School is an important transition time, join us as we welcome kids at middle schools on August 25th!
Kindergarten Kick-Off on August 28th is a special event to celebrate the first day of school for all 5 year-olds and their families. Join us as we greet these new students with smiling faces, warm handshakes, honking horns, balloons, food and much more, all designed to make their very first day of school a memorable one.
