June 2021 - Attending Zoning Board of Adjustments

  • DRP provided a status of project update to Development Team while team prepares requested documentation to DRP

April 2021 - Presented to the Community

  • The Development Team presented to the broader community during the Q2 Community Meeting
  • The Development Project received a score of 73% from the community with a cumulative score of 77% - C
  • The Development Team will be invited to discuss strategies for realignment with the GHDMP

March 2021 - Presented to the DRP

  • The University of Pittsburgh returned to the DRP for a second formal presentation
  • The Developer presented robust solutions to the concerns outlined by the DRP
  • The Development Project passed the DRP review with a score of 80% - B
  • The Developer will present to the community during the April Quarterly Community Meeting

February 2021 - Response to Requested Information

  • The Development Team sent response & updated documentation to DRP's additional requests/concerns

June 2020 - Presented to the DRP

  • The University of Pittsburgh Presented to the DRP during the June 3rd meeting
  • Received a Score of 60% D against the GHMP
  • The University invited to discuss areas of improvement to better align with the GHMP
  • The DRP was joined by the university at the June 23rd meeting to discuss bringing the project into alignment with the GHMP
  • The University has been invited to return to the DRP once improvements are made to bring the project into alignment

May 2020 - Submitted to the DRP

  • Construction of a 45,000 square foot 3-story Chilled Water Plant for Upper Campus Facilities
  • Located on Centre Avenue/Robinson Street Extension
  • Will require a new Electrical Substation
  • Pitt anticipates construction to begin November 2020 and operations to begin December 2022
  • DRP conducted an internal review on May 6th
  • Pitt invited to present to DRP contingent on additional information requested
