The Hill District COVID-19 Relief Fund

UPDATES

Statistics

At this point in time, ALL funds for the Hill District COVID-19 Relief fund have been extinguished. While we recognize this funding did not cure all needs, we are pleased to have brought some immediate relief to so many Hill District residents and businesses. In particular, our focus was to reduce barriers with access to funding for those in our community who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funds On Hold

We've received an overwhelming response since opening applications a little over a week ago for the Hill District COVID-19 Relief Fund. As of now, unfortunately, we've received more requests than we can fulfill based on current funding.

As we continue to review and award applications, we are actively seeking additional funds to meet the demand of our community. It is clear from this level of response that Black Pittsburgh is suffering the rippling socioeconomic effects of COVID-19 very deeply and is in need of more support.

You can still submit your application and should we receive additional funds, we may be able to award you. However, we cannot guarantee an award. Thank you to the Hillman Foundation for making a critical investment to the Hill District community at this difficult time. This work would not have been possible without their Response and Recovery Grant.
