Here is the most recent newsletter sent by the Hill CDC outllining the importance of two upcoming meetings. See you there!
Dear Community Member,
As you are probably aware, on June 28th, the Hill CDC announced that the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) vacant parcels of land along Centre Avenue between Dinwiddie and Soho Streets would be offered for development proposals. The URA released their “Request for Proposals” (RFP) on August 3rd.
This development initiative, led by Councilman R. Daniel Lavelle, is an effort to revitalize the business corridor of the Hill District and your involvement and support are key to bringing vitality back to our neighborhood’s commercial district.
This is a critical point in time for the Hill District’s redevelopment and your input is essential. Proposals are due to the URA from developers on August 27th. The Hill CDC is working with Councilman Lavelle and the URA to assure that the community’s interest and desires are met.
To this end, we are hosting two all-community meetings regarding the Centre Ave RFP.
