Hill Builds is a small business accelerator led by the Hill Community Development Corporation (Hill CDC), designed to support minority- and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) and Section 3-certified firms in the construction trades. Rooted in a broader strategy for economic justice and local empowerment, the program helps participants build capacity, increase competitiveness, and gain access to contracting opportunities connected to the significant development underway in the Hill District.
Through Hill Builds, contractors and subcontractors receive specialized training, technical assistance, and direct connections to capital and project pipelines. The program is part of the Hill CDC’s MBE Maximization Initiative and is structured to ensure that Hill District businesses are positioned to participate meaningfully in local and regional development efforts.
