BeautyWorks is a 12-week business leadership development program designed to provide core business development programming for small business owners seeking to develop deeper professional and personal competencies. BeautyWorks is comprised of a small cohort focused on beauty based businesses, developing leadership skills, and the importance of attracting stakeholders to your business. This program is designed to position participants as business leaders with the necessary resources to both take advantage of and create opportunities in the Hill.
Each cohort may include, but is not limited to:
- Business Development Workshops
Sessions focused on enhancing business skills pertinent to the beauty industry. - Personal and Professional Growth
Activities designed to foster both personal and professional development. - Networking Opportunities
Events and sessions that allow participants to connect with peers and industry professionals.
Beauty Works is ideal for small business owners in the beauty sector who are looking to deepen their competencies and expand their professional network.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
All applicants will be considered, however:
- Preferred applicants will have been in business for at least 6 to 12 months.
- Beauty based businesses should be actively working with at least one client.
- Ideal applicants will demonstrate a willingness to grow as business leaders and play a key role in helping to transform our communities.
Must be able to commit to a 12-week cohort program.
