DRP scored project and it received a cumulative score of 57% – E when scored against the GHDMP. This communication was delivered on May 16 with an invitation to re-present pending revisions.

Alpha Resedential team is currently workshopping revisions to address these concerns:

GHDMP GOAL: Build Upon African American Cultural Legacy Related Recommendations

• Honor the historic and cultural legacy of African Americans in the Hill District throughout the design of your project.
• Ensure that all Hill District residents are empowered and informed during the new development and planning.

GHDMP GOAL: Housing Development Without Displacement Related Recommendations

• Include “right to return” preferences for displaced residents from Hill District
• Include an appropriate level of rental (and possibly for sale) units that are affordable to various income levels for a broad range of unit sizes.
• Establish a target housing mix for this new project that better meets the existing residents of the Hill District

GHDMP GOAL: Mobility, Transportation, and Parking Related Recommendations

• Improve transportation networks and services to the city and within the Hill District.
