Bedford Choice Phase 1 – Reed + Roberts

November 2021

• TREK Development, ARMDC, HACP submitted a proposal for the first phase of the development project located at the intersection of Reed Street and Roberts Street
• The development project consists of 125 new construction residential units
  • 1 Apartment building with 1 & 2 Bedroom apartments will serve senior living
  • 1 Apartment building with 1 & 2 Bedroom apartments will serve small families
  • Townhomes with 3 & 4 Bedroom apartments will serve larger families
  • 90 units will be affordable at levels of 30%-50% AMI
  • 35 units will be at market rate
• Development project includes a shared green space and a community center

December 2021

• The DRP conducted an internal review of the project during their December 1st meeting
• The Development Team has been invited to formally present to the DRP Committee in January 2022

January 2022

• The Development Team formally presented to the DRP during their January Meeting
• The DRP reviewed the project and as a group decided the Development Project was sufficiently in alignment with the Greater Hill District Master Plan
• The Development Project received a score of 82% – B
• The Development Team is invited to formally present to the broader community during the 2022 Q2 Community Meeting

May 2022

• The Trek Development Team formally presented during the Q2 Community Meeting/Development Activities Meeting on May 3rd, 2022
• The development project received favorable scoring from community residents as being in alignment with the Greater Hill District Master Plan
• The Development Project received a cumulative score of 81% – B.
• A Letter of Support will be issued for the project
