September 2023

Alexis Narotsky (HACP) and Addy Cullen (Trek Development) successfully submitted an application to the Development Review Panel. Their application was added to the next month's agenda for internal review by the DRP.

October 2023

DRP Members completed an internal review of the proposal and invited the team to present at the next meeting in November. The DRP, in their preliminary analysis, gave feedback on their presentation related to residential qualifications and preparations being made for current Bedford Dwellings residents who will be moving into the units.

Allies and Ross Management and Development Corporation ("ARMDC") ("Development Team"), the development instrumentality of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh ("HACP") has selected Trek Development Group, Inc. ("Trek") as its Co-Developer and Property Manager for their second phase of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Choice NeighborhoodImplementation Grant (CNI) Grant redevelopment of Bedford Dwellings("Francis Street"). Bedford Dwellings Phase II ("Francis Street") will be the third housing development of the CNI Grant housing strategy but represents the second joint venture between Trek and ARMDC.

Phase II will provide 103 replacement housing for some of the residents of Bedford Dwellings public housing as well as additional affordable and market-rate units.

November 2023

Development Team formally presented their plan to the Development Review Panel at the November 1st meeting.

The DRP determined the project was not in sufficient alignment with the Greater Hill District Master Plan and scored the project a 74%- C.

December 2023

Development team met twice with Hill CDC staff to review feedback of DRP.

After second meeting Development team was invited to present an updated development to the DRP.

January 2024

The Development Team presented during the January 8 DRP meeting, in response to the given feedback. The DRP Panel determined that the proposed project was in better alignment with the Greater Hill District Master Plan giving a score of 84% - B.

Team will now move on to Community Review at the upcoming Quarterly Community Meeting on February 29 2024.

February 2024

The development team presented to a packed room of Hill District residents at our first Quarterly Community Meeting of 2024!

After the ballots were tallied, the project received a Resident Score of 81% - B.

This brought their cumulative scorecard result to a passing grade of 83% - B.
