Hill District Tree Planting Ceremony

Celebrate Arbor Day in the Hill District with a tree planting ceremony on Friday, April 25 at 4:30 PM at Nafasi on Centre Gallery, located at 2145 Centre Avenue!

The event will include a ceremonial planting of a magnolia tree to mark the start of a new open space on Centre Avenue, with remarks from Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey.

This gathering is organized by the Hill CDC in partnership with Tree Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, and the City of Pittsburgh. All are welcome to come out, show support for green spaces, and take part in a community moment rooted in growth and renewal.
