The Community Living Room

The Community Living Room is a gathering space for open and meaningful conversation. It is a place to engage with the past and present while imagining new possibilities for the future. This discussion will explore how youth, scholars, artists, and activists from the Hill District have shaped ideas about freedom.

Mark your calendars! The next Community Living Room will be taking place on Thursday, June 26th at 5:30 PM at Nafasi on Centre, 2145 Centre Avenue. The topic of discussion will be “Black Freedom Struggles: A Fighting Legacy”. Join the community as we discuss the legacy of freedom fighters in the city of Pittsburgh, and the lasting impact they have had on the ongoing struggle for equity in our community.
