OPEN HOUSE:
FAME Academy supports FAME's mission to ensure that all students have access to high quality high school and college education.
Fame Academy is a free, summer and weekend learning enrichment program preparing college-bound, Pittsburgh area middle school students to reach their full potential.
The FAME Academy program offers:
-a wide range of academic courses.
-leadership development, a peer network, and caring mentors.
-test prep and assistance with high school placement
-exposure to independent school resources and personal laptops.
-a competitive edge in the high school independent school application process.
Eligible candidates:
-are completing 6th grade.
-have competitive grade point averages and high class standing.
-demonstrate intellectual curiosity and self-motivation.
Applicants considered based on several criteria including school records, references, interview, and test performance.
