Southwestern Urban Revitilization Project

SPUR is an initiative developed to foster economic growth in the Hill District and surrounding communities through job training and entrepreneurial development by a host of organizations.  The Hill CDC, Urban Innovation 21 (formerly Pittsburgh Central Keystone Innovation Zone), CCAC, Hill House, University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence and Duquesne University’s Small Business Development Center will collaborate to help underserved communities take advantage of the growth in the energy and healthcare industries by focusing on job-related education, start-up and business growth services for resident in targeted neighborhoods.

All programming is at no cost to participants.  The Hill CDC is providing outreach and recruitment and will direct residents to the program of their choice.
