Lakeisha Byrd submitted an application on behalf Communion LLC to the DRP. Herron & Wylie consists of the redevelopment of the existing structure and adjacent parcel located at the intersection of Herron Avenue and Wylie Avenue. The redevelopment includes the rehabilitation of an existing 3-story building and the construction of a 4-story building with roughly 2,100 square feet of ground floor studio office space with (8) one- and two-bedroom apartments above. 50% of the units will be affordable at 60-80% AMI, and the remaining will be market rate.

Project was reviewed at internal meeting of DRP Panelists and invited to present next month.
April 2024
Following their presentation the DRP scored the project at 86% - B. This means the project is ready for a community scoring by residents.
